KIITEE 2019 – Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Date & Pattern, Syllabus

KIITEE 2019 – Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination is an online entrance exam which is organised by the University to offer admissions to candidates to its B.Tech programmes. The online application for KIITEE will be available from the third week of November, 2018. However, candidates must make it a point to check the eligibility criteria of the entrance exam even before they apply for it. KIITEE 2019 is basically a computer based exam which is going to be held tentatively in the third or fourth week of April, 2019. The admit card to appear for the exam will be available online but candidates will be able to download it only after they book the slot of the exam. The slot booking process has to be completed by the third week of April, 2019. Candidates can expect their result tentatively in the month of May in the form of a rank card. The process of result will be followed by counselling only for the qualified candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for KIITEE 2019

Eligibility criteria is something that candidates must know even before applying for the entrance test. The factors included in eligibility criteria are academic qualifications, age limit, nationality, nature of qualifying exam, and many more.

The minimum aggregate marks of the candidates must be of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible.

2 Year of completing 10+2 or equivalent They should have completed class 12th (or equivalent) in the year either 2017 or 2018.

Candidates who are going to appear in class 12th examination (or equivalent) in 2019 may also apply.

3 Subjects in 10+2 They must have had Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects in their 10+ 2 or equivalent
4 Date of Birth Candidates must have been born on or after July 1, 1998

KIITEE 2019 Application Form

The KIITEE 2019 application form is going to be available from the first week of November, 2018 till the last week of March, 2019. The candidates will not have to pay any kind of application fee. Some of the steps that the candidates will have to go through while filling up the application form are mentioned herein below:

  • The first step of applying for the entrance test is to visit the official site of KIITEE. They will get a relevant link there, in which they will have to click on to.
  • They have to select the courses they want to apply for.
  • They have to fill in details like personal, academic and postal address.
  • They must verify the details before submitting it.
  • They will have to upload a copy of class 10th marks sheet/ board certificate in jpg format and its size should not exceed 150 KB, passport size colour photograph which should only be in jpg format and the size must not exceed 50 KB and the signature also should be in jpg format and the size should not exceed 50 KB.

 

Application Status of  KIITEE 2019

After submitting the application form of KIITEE 2019, candidates must check the status of their application form by entering the KIITEE 2019 application number. This will help them to know if their application has been accepted or not.

 

KIITEE 2019 Exam Centres

While filling in the application form, candidates will have to choose at least two cities as their KIITEE exam centres. Later during booking the slot, they must confirm the exam centre as it would be required by the exam authority to print the name of the centre in the admit card. Candidates must note that the authority may cancel the centre if the numbers of applicants for it are not enough. However, those candidates will then be accommodated in some other centres which are in their nearest proximity.

KIITEE 2019 Mock Test

Candidates must take as many mock tests as possible. The mock test will be released by KIITEE. Taking the mock test will help the candidates to know in and out about the KIITEE 2019. Once they take the mock test, they will be able to take the KIITEE without any major confusion.

 

Slot Booking KIITEE 2019

The slot booking is an important and mandatory step which the candidates will have to go through because the exam is conducted more than once a year. It also helps the candidates to book the date, time of the exam according to their convenience. As the slot booking process is over, candidates will be able to download their admit card which they will have to carry to the exam venue.

 

KIITEE 2019 Admit Card

It has to be well-understood by the candidates that they will be able to download the admit card only after their slot booking process is completed. However, before the candidates download the admit card, they must check if all the details are mentioned in the hall ticket correctly or not. Also, the candidates must keep the admit card safely with them so that they can take the exam without any hassle. They must keep the hall ticket safely until their admission process is over. Also, without the admit card, they will not be allowed to appear for KIITEE 2019.

KIITEE 2019 Answer Key

The answer key for KIITEE 2019 is not announced by the University. Therefore, candidates must note it down that there will not be any KIITEE answer key. However, if the University decides to release any answer key, it will be published in this site.

 

KIITEE 2019 Result and Rank List

The result for KIITEE 2019 is going to be announced in the last week of April, 2019. Candidates who take the KIITEE 2019 test will have to login in to the official site of KIITEE in order to check the marks they have secured. The university will release a rank card which the candidates will have to furnish at the time of counselling. The rank card will represent the rank secured by the candidates as per their merit in KIITEE 2019. Candidates, who get the same marks will be offered ranks on the basis of the inter-se-merit rules as prescribed by the University.

 

Counselling for KIITEE 2019

The counselling process will be conducted offline in May, 2019 and only the qualified candidates will be able to take part in it. Based on the merit as well as the choice of branches as mentioned by the students, the counselling process will be carried on. Candidates would require to login and then download the KIITEE counselling letter in order to submit at the University and all of these have to be done on the scheduled date and time. The candidates will have to report in person for the counselling process and complete the document verification. Those who are allotted seats, they will have to pay the admission fees and confirm their seat.
