IBSAT 2019 – ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test, IBSAT 2019 is an annual management entrance test, conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. This test is done for admission of aspiring candidates in their MBA/PGDM programmes to the nine participating IBS institutes. The mode of the test will be completely online. By getting through the test, candidates will be able to take admission in any of the nine campuses, which include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and Dehradun. IBSAT 2019 is going to be held on December 21 and 22, 2019. The application process for IBSAT 2019 has been start from July 1, 2019 and it will continue till December 12, 2019. The duration of the exam will be two hours which will carry multiple choice questions (MCQs). The result is likely to be declared in January, 2020. After the results are announced, the candidates will be selected for further rounds, which will include Group Discussion and Personal Interview, on the basis of their cut-off marks.

IBSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have done Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • The mode of education for candidates must be English.
  • Candidates who have done their graduation from non-English medium will have to submit their TOEFL, NELT or IELTS score by May 31, 2020.
  • Students who are on their graduation final year also may apply for the test, provided they obtain the requisite marks in their graduation. They have to submit their proof of education by November 1, 2020. Also, they must complete their education on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis.

IBSAT 2019 Application Form

The IBSAT application form 2018 is available to candidates from July 1, 2019 and will continue till December 12, 2019. Application form needs to be filled in correctly by the candidates in order to apply for the test and qualify the exam so that they can get admission in any of the nine campuses of IBS in the country. Candidates get the platform to fill the application form either through online or offline mode. Nevertheless, they are required to know that only the application process is available to them in either online or offline mode; while the entire test will be held in completely online mode.

Online Mode: Candidates can fill up the IBSAT 2019 application form at the ease of their chair by paying only Rs.1800. The fee can be paid through various modes, which include Debit Card/ Credit Card or Net Banking. After application fee is paid successfully, candidates will receive an e-mail in their registered mail address that they mentioned in the application form, with the application number and password mentioned in it. To fill the application form, candidates will be able to login through the credentials they received in their registered e-mail ID.

Offline Mode: Aspiring candidates, who want to carry on the application process offline, can visit any marketing office of IBS and buy the application form. They have to pay the fee of Rs.1800 at the marketing office. Along with the application form, the aspirants will receive a scratch card that contains application number as well as password. Before they visit the IBS marketing office in order to buy the application form, they must check if the office is registered or not. All these information is available online.

IBSAT 2019 Exam Pattern

So far the IBSAT exam pattern 2019 is concerned, it is expected that the exam pattern would be the same as it was in the last year. Just like last year, the test pattern will be divided into four sections, which will carry 140 multiple choice questions (MCQs). The four sections are Verbal Ability, Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation, Reading Comprehension and Quantitative Techniques.

IBSAT 2019 Syllabus

The syllabus for IBSAT 2019 is divided into five sections. So, let us take a look into it.

Marking Scheme

There will be total of 140 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and for each correct answer, candidates will obtain one mark. There is no negative marking. Therefore, candidates do not have to be afraid of losing any mark even if they answer incorrectly.

IBSAT 2019 Admit Card

After completing the registration process properly, aspiring candidates will be able to download the IBSAT admit card 2019. However, they will be able to do it only in the 15th of December, 2019. To download the admit card, candidates will also have to use their Registered Id along with their Date of Birth in the required format. After the process of downloading the admit card is completed, candidates must check all the information that is mentioned in it, such as candidate’s name, venue details, time of the exam, to name a few. If they find anything incorrect, they can get in touch with the helpline desk of IBSAT.

Candidates must note that the admit card will not be sent to them either by post or through e-mail. The only way to get the admit card is by downloading it from the official website of IBSAT. All the candidates who are applying for IBSAT 2019 are required to know that only those aspirants will get admit cards who fill the application with all the required and correct information. Any wrong information can lead to cancellation of the application. Candidates must carry the admit card while they appear for the test at the exam venue. Without the hall ticket, they will not be allowed.

IBSAT 2019 Mock Test

Aspiring candidates who are looking forward to take the IBSAT 2019 exam must make it a point that they take the IBSAT mock test 2019. It is advisable to them that they should take as many mock tests as possible. This will help them to know what they may come across in the IBSAT 2019 exam. IBSAT 2019 Result

The IBSAT result 2019 is expected to be announced in the 5th of January, 2020. Candidates will be able to check their result online. To check their result, they have to visit the official site of IBSAT and login with the ID and password they received at the time of registration. After they enter into the account, they will be able to download their result. The result will be available to the aspirants in the form of score card. It is advised to the candidates that they keep their score card till the time their admission process is done.

After the result is declared, the names of the shortlisted candidates will be announced by the participating institutes of ICFAI Foundation. The selection briefing is expected to be conducted from January 3rd week, 2020 and the process of selection is likely to commence from February 3rd week and continue till 4th week, 2020 for MBA/PGPM program and March 3rd week, 2020 for PhD program at IBS campus, Hyderabad.

IBSAT 2019 Cut off Marks

The IBSAT cut-off 2019 list for admission to MBA programme is released by the nine affiliated institutes of ICFAI Foundation. The cut-off list will be released once the result of IBSAT 2019 is declared. Cut-off marks are the minimum percentile needed for the candidates to get shortlisted for the admission process in MBA in any of the IBS institute. However, this is very important for the candidates to know that every institute has its own cut-off marks. The expected cut-off marks for IBSAT 2019 are IBS Gurgaon – 62+, IBS Mumbai – 62+, IBS Bangalore – 65+ and IBS Hyderabad – 68+. To have a clear idea about the cut-off marks, aspiring candidates may also check the last year’s cut-off marks of each of the institute. Knowing the cut-off marks of all the nine participating institutes will help the candidates to know how much they have to score minimum in order to get selected for the further selection process.

IBSAT 2019 Selection Process

The IBSAT selection process 2018 will commence after the IBSAT 2019 results will be declared. On the basis of the result and cut-off marks, the participating institutes will shortlist the candidates for the further selection rounds, which will include Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The other factors which will also be considered apart from Group Discussion and Personal Interview are academic performance of the candidates and work experience if the candidates are working professionals. The final merit list of IBSAT 2019 is likely to be declared in the last week of March, 2019.
